The operation of the Parks and Recreation Department is guided by a seven-member Recreation Commission. Commission members are volunteers from the community and are appointed to seven-year terms by the Town Board.
If you are interested in being considered for a commission appointment, send a letter of interest and a brief resume to the Director of Recreation or the Town Supervisor. The Commission welcomes input from the community. 

Mission Statement
To support the mission of the Town of DeWitt Parks and Recreation Department and “Provide DeWitt residents with comprehensive programs, activities, and facilities that enhance quality of life and to be responsible stewards of DeWitt’s valuable natural, historic, and cultural resources.”
