Summer Day Camp is one of DeWitt's longest running programs, welcoming over 400 children each year. Campers will enjoy arts and crafts, sports and games, musical arts and drama, field trips and special events. Camp generally takes place in Jamesville-DeWitt school buildings and is staffed by local teachers, college students and high school students. Our camp is certified through the Onondaga County Health Department and all staff undergo training to meet Health Department safety standards.
Summer Day Camp 2022
Town of DeWitt Community!
We want to start by saying…thank you! You were all integral in helping us to get the staff we need in order to offer a fun, safe, enriching Summer Day Camp (SDC) experience for campers – and a family supportive program – for 2022. We are happy to announce that we WILL be able to have the program this year! That being said, we have some very important information about registration and pricing.
We are doing some things differently this year, so please read the information at the link below carefully.
Also: If you reside in the Town of DeWitt (including East Syracuse and Jamesville residents within the Town of DeWitt) your child is eligible to register for Summer Day Camp. Your child may attend school outside the Town of DeWitt; so long as the child resides within the Town, they are eligible for camp. Non-residents, please email firstname.lastname@example.org any time after 4:00am on Monday, April 4th and we will put you on a non-resident wait list in the order we receive your email. If we have available spots, we will notify you by email as soon as possible.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Per health department requirements, you must have a copy of your child’s immunization records in order to register for camp. We do not keep immunization records on file from previous years. If you do not have immunization records with you at registration we cannot accept your forms.
