People in Action (PIA), operating under the 501 (c) 3, Non-profit Organization Friends of DeWitt Parks and Recreation, is a community enrichment program that addresses the challenges faced by residents with limited resources. These programs are designed to meet the needs of children and adults whose primary language is something other than English. We strive to support academic growth and reduce student drop-out rate.
We're back! The PIA after school program returns to the Klim Center on Tuesday, September 6, 2022.
The People In Action (PIA) after school program is structured to combine tutoring, hands on learning, and recreational opportunities for residents in and around the Springfield Garden apartment complex.
