GENERAL INFORMATION
Youth Programs
DeWitt is proud to be one of the only municipalities in the area to offer before and after school programs to children in grades K-6. Our long running, well loved summer Day Camp program welcomes over 400 children every year and includes arts and crafts, sports and games, musical arts and drama, special events and field trips. Other popular youth programs include sports camps, art classes, nature programs, soccer and more!
Adult Programs
Fitness classes, golf lessons, defensive driving, boating safety and athletic programs are just some of the opportunities available to adults through the Recreation Department. We partner with local instructors and organizations to offer a wide variety of fun and informative programs.
Senior Programs
The Town of DeWitt has three senior center locations in East Syracuse, DeWitt and Jamesville. Each center offers a unique combination of programming that ranges from art classes to playing cards to health screenings all for little to no cost. Other popular senior programs include bridge, chorus, table tennis, light weight training, bowling and golf. Seniors may also enjoy a variety of trips to local theatres or other attractions, or a selection of overnight trips to shows, historic towns and other exciting locations!
