  • Due to the complexity, the project has taken longer than originally thought.
    • Parks staff has been working hard to finish this park and it is planned to be completed by the end of 2018!
  • This project is made possible through a collaborative effort between the Town of DeWitt, Onondaga Earth Corps, DeWitt Rotary Club, Wegmans, National Grid, the Edgewater Company LLC, Community Bank, NYS Canal Corporation, New York State Department of Transportation, the Federal Highway Authority, and many volunteers. Grants from the New York State Parks Recreation and Historic Preservation, US Forest Service, and Onondaga Soil and Water Conservation District have also generously supported this project.
