The Parks and Recreation Department works with volunteers on an on-going basis. Usually, an individual or group will approach the department looking for a service project. Occasionally, they will have a particular project in mind. In either case, volunteers are always welcome. Programs that have a continual recurring need for volunteers are People In Action Program and the Kim Ball Memorial Butterfly Garden. If you have a project in mind you must have it approved by the Director of Recreation, recreation@townofdewitt.com to ensure that your project supports the goals and initiative of the department.
