STORMWATER MANAGEMENT

NYSDEC SPDES General Permit for Stormwater Discharges from Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4’s) Annual Report Notice
The NYSDEC Phase II SPDES Permit for Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4’s) requires an annual report be prepared to summarize the results of the Town storm water program. The report must be submitted to the NYSDEC by June 1st of each year. Comments on this report or requests for a public meeting to be held to ask questions about or make comments on the report should be addressed to jconlon@townofdewitt.com. A summary of the public comments that are received must be included in the report along with a description of how comments will be responded to or incorporated into the Town’s storm water program. Public comments must be received no later than May 27, 2011.  The report will also be available in the Town Clerk's office for review and comment.
