While roads in Town of DeWitt are maintained by the DeWitt Highway Department, the Village of East Syracuse provides its own street maintenance, and Onondaga County and the State of New York both provide maintenance to their roads within the Town's borders. Listed below are the Onondaga County and the State of New York roads.

Per the 2009 NYS annual certification of mileage, the Town roadway system measures 122.14 center line miles. There are 29.5 miles of County roads and 34.26 miles of State roads within the Town boarders. (link to the tables below please) During the winter months, an additional 6.97 miles of County roads are cleared of snow.
