RECYCLING

Recycling in Onondaga County reduces the waste load by over 60%. OCRRA’s Recycling program offers full details on what is and is not recyclable for DeWitt and all other municipalities. Generally, the following materials are recyclable:

- plastic bottles

- metal containers

- glass containers

- gable top containers

- corrugated cardboard

- paper items paperboard, pizza boxes and drink boxes

 

Blue Bins

Blue Bins for recyclables can be obtained at the Ted Marsh Highway Facility, 5953 Butternut Drive, East Syracuse, NY. Office hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm. For more information call (315) 437-8331.
