            Garbage will be picked up on Tuesday through Friday each week. See

2.         How do I change or start my service?
            Call the Development & Operations office at 446-3768 (ext. 172 or 173)
            or email to dev_oper@townofdewitt.com.

Changes must be made on or before October 1 to be effective for the
following year.

3.         What if I have a problem with my garbage service?
            FIRST, contact Syracuse Waste Haulers at 426-6771. If the problem is
            not resolved you may then call the DeWitt Town Clerk’s office at 446-3768.

6.         When will leaves be collected?
            There is no set schedule: pickup usually begins in mid-October when leaf
            fall is at its peak.

7. When are the Metals Drop-Off days?
For 2007 the days are April 28 and October 13 (8:00 A.M. to Noon)
