Youth ages 5-12 can join our nature clubs, do pottery, learn chess, weekend
snowboard and ski lessons as well as week-long ski/board camps during school recesses. Creative Writing, Theater for Youth, Internet Safety are some of the types of classes offered through the Recreation Department. |

Our nature program offers several clubs for youth to be involved in. The Junior Naturalists Program for nature enthusiasts opens the doors for youth to take part in their home, school or community surroundings. The group decides on projects and help is given to discuss and facilitate and provide guidance. email: cmanchester@townofdewitt.com The Art & Garden Club meets and discusses art projects that will enhance Town Sponsored events such as Canal Day and the Hay Ride. The Annual Fishing Derby has broken away from Canal Day and has its own day, it’s a great event at the pond in Ryder Park. Skiing, Snowboarding, Swim Lessons, Golf, Theater, Creative Writing, Chess, Horseback Riding are among the classes offered. (Fall Brochure) |
