METAL DROP-OFF

Coordinating with OCRRA’s Earth day clean up, the Town of DeWitt is proud to provide:  Metal & Electronics recycling
Saturday, April 21, 2011   8am—12 pm Drop off your unwanted metal and electronic items at the Ted Marsh Highway Facility, 5953 Butternut Drive! Anything metal or “mostly metal” can be taken!  We partnered with Bruin Computer Components and can take all types of electronics (including TV’s!!) Computer towers to toasters!   All material is recycled!!
METAL NEEDS TO BE FREE OF OTHER MATERIALS
(SUCH AS  WEBBING, CONCRETE, PLASTIC and GLASS, etc.)
NO WIRE FENCING!

Material is FREE to drop off!

EXCEPT the following items:
$ 5.00 per propane tank
$ 20.00 per refrigerant (freon)
(refrigerator, freezers, air conditioner, dehumidifier)

Highway Department staff will be available to assist residents with unloading their vehicle. Contact 437-8331 with any questions.
