To bag or not to bag, that is the question…
If you choose to bag leaves:
*Material is accepted at two OCRRA Compost Facilities. Call 453-2870 for details or on the web @ www.OCRRA.org. Grass clippings, sod and other types of non- recyclable outdoor wastes are also accepted.
If you choose to have the Town pickup your leaves:
- Leaves are vacuumed – therefore – NO BAGS or STICKS.
- Rake to the edge of your lawn in a row – NOT ON THE ROAD.
- Do not block street access to the row of leaves.
There is no pickup schedule. Pick up will start when the bulk of the leaves have fallen and will continue until the leaves are gone.
****If or When the weather gets too wet, leaf pick-up continues using the loaders.
